I hope that everyone is doing well.

I've got a good one for you today from suspense called The Furnished Floor.

And it's one of my favorites, one of the creepiest plays of Old Time Radio in my opinion.

But it's definitely one of my favorites.

This play stars Mildred Nightwick as Mrs. Hawkins and Don

DeFore as Mr. Jennings. So real quick, a little bit about them, and then we'll get right into it.

Mildred Natwick was born June 19, 1905. She was an American stage film and television actress.

She is remembered for small but memorable roles in several John Ford film classics, including three godfathers, she wore a yellow ribbon, and The Quiet

Man. She played Miss Ivy Gravely in Alfred Hitchcock's The Trouble with Harry. In 1967, she earned an

Academy Award nomination for her supporting role in Barefoot in the Park.

She was nominated for two Tony Awards in 1957 and 1972, and won a Primetime Emmy Award for her work in the Menisories, The Snoop Sisters.

She passed away October 25, 1994.

Don DeFour plays Mr. Jennings in today's play.

He was born August 25, 1913.

He toured the country in stock companies for several years before making his Broadway debut in
