Welcome back to the show.

I've got a great play for you guys today,

one of my all-time favorites.

And this one's from suspense, and it stars

the king of classic suspense and horror himself, the great Vincent Price. I really love the play

that we are airing today, one of my favorites, and just so great. So the name of

the play is Fugue in C minor. And that is, of course, a reference to a classical composition,

I believe, by Bach, either Beethoven or Bach, one of those two, I believe.

And like I said, it stars Vincent Price. It also stars Ida Lipino. I'll say a few words

about Ida Lipino after the play today, but right now I'm going to give a brief introduction

to Vincent Price and then we'll get right into it. Vincent Price was born May 27th

of 1911 and he was an American actor best known for his performances in horror films. His

career spanned many genres including film noir, drama, mystery, thriller, and comedy.

He appeared on stage, television, radio, and in more than 100 films.

He has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, one for motion pictures, and one for television.
