All right.

So I've got a play for you guys today from suspense called The Nightman.

And this one actually aired on suspense three times it looks like.

One in 1944, one in 1959, and one in 1960.

The one that I'm airing today is the one from 1944,

and it stars Virginia Bruce as the lead character.

Virginia Bruce was born September 29th, 1909, and she was an American actress and singer.

Her first screen work was in 1929 as an extra for Paramount in, in Why Bring That Up?

In 1930, she appeared on Broadway in the musical Smiles.

In 1949, she starred in Make Believe Town,

a 30-minute afternoon drama broadcast daily on CBS radio.

After a successful career in radio and film, she passed away February 24, 1984, 1982.
