And so that last episode that we aired of Johnny Dollar was just the audition episode for the previous actor. So Charles Russell played the role of Johnny Dollar from 1949 until being replaced by Edmund O'Brien in 1950. He was born March 31st of

1918 and he was a movie and radio actor who appeared in 17 movies between
