podcasts as well, so be sure to check them out. So this play today stars Agnes Moorhead. And we've actually

talked about Agnes Moorhead a lot. We've seen her in several plays on the podcast at this

point. I just want to mention a few comments real briefly. Agnes Moorhead was born December 6th of

1900 and she was an American actress who had a 41 year career, which included radio, stage, film, and television.

She is best known for her role as in Dora on the television series Bewitched.

She also had notable roles in films such as Citizen Kane, The Magnificent Embersons, Dark Passage,

All That Heaven All That Heaven Allows, Showboat, and Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte.

Agnes Moorhead passed away April 30th of 1974.

By the way, be sure to check her out in the very first play we did on the podcast. Sorry, wrong number. She did an excellent job, and that is such a classic play

of old-time radio suspense. So today's play, The Ring of Truth, was episode number 21 of the CBS Radio Mystery Theater.

The first run was on January 26th of 1974.
