since we have done a play from suspense. So really looking forward to getting back to the

suspense program. Today's play stars Mr. Allen Lied, and he was born September 3rd of 1913 and was an American actor and film and television

producer.

He found success in film in the 1940s and early 1950s doing westerns and film noirs.

Some of his film credits include this gun for hire of

1942, the Glass Key of 1942, and the Blue Dahlia of 1946. Alan Ladd passed away on January 29th of 1964.

All right, let's go ahead and get into today's play from suspense, and the title of this one is The Defense.
