Blockbuster earnings for Netflix. Today, what can the numbers tell us about the tech earnings yet to come?

Mark it is that time of the year that comes four times a year

tech earnings are underway.

Right and we sort of got we got Adobe back in December, which I was just looking, but Netflix last night really sort of sets up what we're going to get over the next few weeks.

Out with earnings, I think with Netflix, there's not much to argue about with this quarter strong performance

Strong subscriber trends stocks up you know 10% today and that really got you and I thinking, what are the other sort of straightforward stories

that are coming down the pike in tech?

And it's hard to do because there's such vastly different companies

with different business models, but if there is sort of like one

takeaway and I thought this was actually your idea Gilbert there is one clear

takeaway perhaps and that is keep it simple that is the message from Netflix for the rest of

tech this is an organic growth story accelerating revenue industry leader

high- margin areas of growth straightforward aforward, as straightforward can be.

B of A puts it to, you know, moving Netflix is moving into

logical emphasis on logical areas like

w w w w w rights and also video games and they note no far out other bets and I had to wonder when I read that if that was a dig at other mega caps like

I mean I think that's definitely a day.

Yesterday and like what is the opposite of logical

logical areas that is like the moonshot factory right?

These are totally

radical ideas that would change the world but they're really out there
