Matt Walsh from Vep and Upright Citizens Brigade and we talked about growing up in a huge family

choosing comedy over psychology which animals are famous versus merely well known, and then I learned something.

Was your family supportive of you wanting to pursue comedy?

I think so. I think my mom, less so in a good way, like you gotta make money and like what is improv and how does that lead anything and then she would come into these houses I lived in with like three other dudes and she's like, oh my God, you can't live like this.

This is crazy or when I moved in New York and slightly older they came in and we had the classic like two

outlet prong with like eight cords running into it like total fire hazard my father, Jesus God, that is not good.

He's like, you gotta fix that right now.

I'm like driving around.

I lost my gas cap one year in Chicago, so I just stuffed a rag in it,

so I was like driving a Molotov cocktail for like a day.
