Sometimes there's expectations for a game and you look forward to it and you circle it on the calendar and then it gets there.

And it's a dud. It's just never as good as you expected because you had such high hopes.

J.J. Regan, this game was not a dud. This game was fantastic from the opening face-off, caps and Bruins, two best

teams in hockey, and it was a great game. Yeah, sometimes when you build up those games,

it's hard to live up the expectations. This one absolutely did, and it's just a shame that

we're not going to see in the playoffs because that's what happens in the NHL.

Well, okay. Maybe you might. We might see these teams at some point. Brian McNally, I mean,

it had, if you had asked 100 random fans outside, either wearing caps red or Bruins, black and gold.

You want to pick one guy from each team to have a fight early. Tom Wilson, Zadano Chara. Like, uh, that'll never happen. Even that happened. Like, this game had everything. We got everything we wanted. Inject it in my veins just directly. Like, that was phenomenal. And that was just early. Wasn't that like the first period? Like, that was just early. So much happened after that. A posternot goal that was ridiculous.

The T.J. O'Shee, we're singing country roads all night.

It was a great hockey game.

It's the middle of December.

Sometimes it's the dog days.

This thing livened up.

We'll be living off this one for a couple weeks, I think.

That was great. And yet the MVP of the game just might be stretch.
