In honor of this year's Oscars, we pulled listeners to ask a simple question.

What is the best, best picture winner of all time?

Ninety-three movies have won the prize, including some of the greatest films of all time, not

to mention the occasional head scratcher.

winners and some picks of our own on pop culture happy hour from NPR.

It is a pleasure to have us all here.

So in recent weeks, we've asked listeners to answer a poll in which they choose the best

best picture winners of all time.

Each voter got five picks, so you didn't necessarily have to decide between, say, Casablanca

and Green Book, thousands of people answered the call, giving us a hearty cross section

of choices.

In fact, 91 of the 93 best picture winners got votes with the only shout outs going to

1931s, Simaron, and 1937s, the life of Emule Zola.
