Folks, this is Improved for humans with Matt Besser. That's me, Monica, Monde, Bobby. Welcome back to the show.

So, Brett, this is breaking news. I don't usually have breaking news episodes, but, and I'm not a guy, you know, out and about.

But, uh, I happen to be at the Oscars for any of you guys there, happen to be. Definitely not. Okay, then I got the exclusive breaking news. It would suck if I had it. Then you guys

was raw that happened to be there too. Yeah, I saw that too. I'd be like, man, I wanted to break in news. And you're like, well, it's not breaking news. We all saw until days ago. Yeah, but I was boots on the ground. So I got some perspective there.

I'd like to give my perspective, Brett and guest, if you don't mind, will improvise on that. Okay. So we used to do this form called the check-in.

Back in the Del Close days where it was supposed to be you tell everyone about your theoretically your week or are a very interesting day. And you only told it from your point of view without, and you did it with your part of the dialogue.

So it would start with me getting in the Uber to go the Oscars or whatever, right? Like, yeah, I'm Matt, you know, or whatever. I won't do that.

But I'm going to I'm going to do it. I would like to start with what everyone's talking about and not just of whether it was right or wrong or all that stuff that everyone else is talking about.

But just what I observed there and how it went down I found just super fascinating. So how far into the show do you guys think it might have been like two-thirds?

Yeah, it seemed like 75% of the way through maybe. Yeah, yeah, I think so. It seemed pretty far into the show. And I had gotten there. So the show Pacific Time starts at five, right?

So I got, but the show actually starts at four because they do all those pre tapes with all the other awards like carrying makeup and all the tech stuff.

So the show for me and the audience that's there started at four. So we're like three hours into a show at that point.

So get so understand that vibe a little bit. Also understand that.

And this is new to me. I guess I should have figured this out, but 90% of the of the people there, including me, we're tourist.

You know what I mean? It's like we're it's the vibe felt very similar to standing in line at Disney World to me.

The entire experience because I'm not on the red carpet. I'm not in those seats next to you know, Judy Dinch.

That's what I wanted to be next to.

Dame, but we're all we're like in a like they're in the surgical gallery or we're up in the gallery and watching the surgery.

Basically, we're all up in the mezzanines. All us tourists basically.

So that that's that's the scene. And I'm bored of shit at that point.
