And this week, we wanted to touch on the whole team vote situation.

So for those who don't know, Alexi McCammon, a political reporter, formally of Axios was announced as the new editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue a few weeks back.

Days later, I believe days later, old tweets of hers in which she used anti-Asian language were resurfaced.

Now, she had already apologized for those tweets a couple years ago, but this set off a lot of discontent among some members of the Teen Vogue staff and the broader public,

especially amid this moment of increased anti-Asian violence, which obviously came to a head last week with the Atlanta shootings.

Though Alexi, you know, would issue a number of other statements apologizing and taking responsibility for thoughts she says she no longer holds,

including some homophobic tweets that were drawn up and a photo of her in a, you know, indigenous American costume for Halloween.
