Hello everybody and welcome back to another episode of NerdSoup. I am Bo Oliver,

join here today with Aaron the NerdSoup Mookie and we are back to talk about the 94th Academy Awards,

the Oscars, which are airing in a couple of days on Sunday. So we're here to give our predictions,

talk about what we want to see, what we think will happen, what we want to actually happen.

Usually they don't always line up, but Aaron, how are you doing today? Are you excited for the Oscars?

Yeah, I'm excited to get into it. We'll be talking about all the major characters,

we'll be talking about all the major categories, except of course documentary short,

film editing, makeup, and hair styling, original score, production design,

animated short, live action short, and sound.

Yeah, I've completely erased those categories from my brain, so I just heard gibberish.

Yeah, I don't even know what I was just reading off.

I can't wait for this to break the Super Bowl's viewer record. It's going to have more

watchers than Barcelona vs. Real Madrid, because they eliminated those categories.

Yep. So congratulations to all that ad money rolling in it. Yeah, no, we're going to jump right

and we're going off of the website. So we're going to jump around from the categories,

we're going to start with the major acting categories. And the first one here is actor

in a leading role. We have Javier Bardem for being the Ricardo, spend at a cummerbatch for the

power of the dog, Andrew Garfield for tick tick boom, Will Smith for King Richard, and Denzel

Washington for the tragedy of Macbeth. So Aaron, I know you've got your ear to the whispers

and the rumblings of who's the favorite, who's going to pull out some of these awards?
