and Bradley Cooper is up for a number of them.

He's earned a best actor non for his portrayal

of composer Leonard Bernstein in the film Maestro, which also is nominated

for a total of seven awards.

I got the chance to sit down with Bradley a few years back when he starred in another award-winning film, a star is

born. Cooper directs acts and as we learned in this one he can sing too. This is our

conversation about how he approaches acting, how he approaches directing, and how

he goes about his life, sharing what it was like growing up in Philadelphia as part of a
