Travis, it is nice to hear that you are alive and well in this the first week of the cyberpunk future dystopia that is Trumpland.

Yeah, you know, it's interesting. We've ventured a new era I mean we've we've spent eight years

did it never occur to you how strange it is to be an age now where you're old enough now to compare errors of time

to others of errors of time in a very concrete way during which you were an adult?

Yeah, like I can remember the difference between when George W Bush took office and those eight years

versus when Obama took office in those eight years and now the week one of

Trump taking office like I I'm old enough now to be able to compare and

contrast those periods in a very concrete way.

It is a new experience for me.

It is super crazy the ability to do that.

I'm hoping that more than the beginning of a new era that like

Trump's reign, hopefully short and impeached as it may be, is like the final death throws of an era.

I mean we talked about it on Interabing this week and I had a realization this week

of like what we're in now. there's a lot of like people talking about like civil war and stuff in like you know lots of opposition I think right now what we're in is a very ongoing long-term like multi-decade war of PR of like having people say hey

let me rather than tell you why you should support me, let me tell you instead

why you should hate these other people and be afraid of them.
