Apple's last big day of updates for the year has come and gone.

All of the Kupertino Company's current operating systems got updates on Monday and

a few of its older ones did too.

That's iOS, iPad OS, Mac OS, watch OS, TB OS, and the software for Home Pod. We will start with the tablets and phones.

A piece from Mac rumors writes up the arrivals of iOS and iPad OS 17.2.

New features include adding a translate option for the action button on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone

15 Pro Max.

Those models also have the ability to capture spatial video. That's the 3D video format that will be

playable on Apple Vision Pro, the Cupertino Company's Mixed Reality headset due early next year.

Widening out to other models, the messages app gets a couple of tweaks,

one placing a catch-up arrow for going to the first unread message in the conversation without having to hunt for it,

and another for adding stickers to chat bubbles through the tap back menu.

Mac rumor says there are also new weather and clock widgets, support for accessing health data through Siri,

a favorite songs playlist in Apple Music, and more.

Now if you're wondering where the journal app is I just haven't gotten to it yet

Apple issued a press release on the application which is installed automatically

with iOS 17.2.
