Hey there, it's Meredith.

I'm excited to tell you that we've been hard at work on a whole new season of origin stories.

Somebody told me that there was a sighting of a large, upright, walking ape.

But it was in New South Wales in Sydney.

I was just like, no.

So it's really a rare glimpse into an extinct world that we got to take a small peek at today.

I just googled it, and it's like an ostrich egg can take the weight of about 220 kilograms vertically.

What?

We'll take you from China and Indonesia to Morocco and South Africa.

And travel through time, exploring discoveries that change the way we look at ourselves and the world

we live in. You're looking at things that are really old, and yet it is an oceanic island that has

never been connected to the mainland. How can you find something like this there? I remember being

with a huge group of chimps, and we we were running and it was like a day of

chaos and drama. You're kind of plugged in to their world and it's a bit like you're seeing

things through their eyes. It reminds me most of being with a really young child. I know we're all

tired and thinking of home but this is the final stretch, okay?

So I need all of you, all hands on deck.

So can I hear a collective woohoo?
