Hello everybody and welcome back to Revolutionary Left Radio.

So for today's episode we wanted to update people on the organizing going on here in Omaha

during this pandemic.

We also wanted to offer ideas for people who are trying to organize during this pandemic

in your own localities and hopefully offer some inspiration for people who might be feeling

down at this time.

Now there are people all over this country on the left who are stepping up in their communities,

serving the people, helping people fight slum lords and greedy landlords and helping

people get food and basic needs.

So it's really important that we highlight those struggles and the struggles that I know

best are here in my home city of Omaha where my comrades and I have been doing everything

we can in a bunch of different orgs to serve people's basic needs during this time.

So we have two interviews today and I sort of stitched them together with a little transition

music so there will be two separate interviews, one with Omaha tenants united and the other

with Brendan from Nebraska left coalition.

So the first half will really be focused on tenant organizing during the pandemic.

The second half will be focused on organizing around food production and distribution during

the pandemic.

So a little different than we've done in the past but not totally new.

We have episodes and the past full episodes on both of these organizations I believe and

I'll try to post those in the show notes so if you're interested at all in either O.T.U or
