Today's tip is to connect with far-flung friends and family

by going on a virtual scavenger hunt.

This tip comes from before breakfast listener Amy who, like many of us,

has been trying to find ways to stay close to family as COVID-19 has made getting

together in person difficult.

Lots of us have done family Zoom calls,

but Amy's family got a little bit more creative

with a virtual scavenger hunt. My parents, sister, and I set up a time to meet on the video chat app Marco Polo, she told me.

I announced each scavenger hunt item and each person searched their house or apartment and reported back on video.

So what did they search for?

Well, the list included something expired, something odd from under the bed or couch.

Something from another country.
