0:00.0	Okay, I'm here with Jim Cutler. Jim, can you tell me you've been doing some research on this whole idea of the mail-in voting? This is confusing because it seems like the Democrats really want mail-in voting. This is part of their whole narrative that we need to be scared. We need to stay in our homes, we can't go out.
0:21.2	If we go out, we have to wear a mask, but a mask won't protect us, and so we can't possibly
0:25.7	vote in person. And this seems like the reason why they're in favor of this is because it'll
0:32.2	be easier for them to steal the election. And so Trump has come out hard against mail-in voting, not absentee voting,
0:39.9	which is different. And so he's been tweeting against it, tweeting against it. And so, Jim,
0:47.1	what are these two sides? And what do you think is on the playbook of either side?
1:01.1	I'm going to take you back to the Iowa caucus at the beginning of the primaries and talk a little bit about how that went down.
1:04.5	Here you have a very visible voting process.
1:10.4	The Iowa caucuses are always looked at as that bellwether for how people
1:15.3	think the primaries are going to go. And it is an unusual situation because it is a caucus and not
1:23.5	an actual primary balloting. So, but again, it's that litmus test that everybody loves to comment on.
1:32.5	They came up with this.
1:35.2	Democrats. The Democrats came up with an app. Of course, you know, this is a, the Republicans,
1:40.8	you know, this is a non-issue for Republicans pretty much on this particular thing,
1:45.7	because we have the incumbent. So the Democrats come up with this app that is going to be used to
1:51.9	collect the votes and to tabulate them and to get them out. And it's supposed to be whiz-bang and
1:59.5	really, you know, effective and quick and
2:01.6	efficient and all that. Well, we come to find out that the thing was a complete disaster,
2:06.6	and it created an enormous amount of chaos, and that chaos caused a delay in the balloting
2:13.3	and all kinds of repercussions. So the question then is, what was the purpose of that app?
2:20.1	Was that Democrats really trying to create something that was useful
2:24.7	that would help them do things accurately and efficiently that went awry?
