Today, stock markets across the world open to continue devastation as global economies crash and a recession looms thanks to the dangerous tariff game being played by one man and one man alone.

Donald Trump. To make matters worse, a singular tweet with disinformation this morning caused chaos and a $4 trillion swing in the market.

This is a live look at the New York Stock Exchange. So about 40 minutes ago, we showed you that the market was actually in positive territory after beginning the trading day down almost 3%. Now we're

almost back down to where we started as the volatility continues, which we can expect over the

course of the next couple of hours on the trading day. Now, what's important to take a look at is

the VIX, the volatility index. That's an important indicator which measures volatility

and the mood and the sentiment on the street.

It is at times has been as high as 50.

Normally we see it below 40, so that gives you a sense of how things are expected to play out.

So the market started low, then rose, then went into an absolute freefall.

What happened? Well, here's what we know. Donald's economic advisor, Kevin Hassett, gave a morning

That's about how much trade we have, how many imports.

And so 86% of GDP is affected by the deregulation

and the tax cuts and everything else.
