recording this than we ever have been in the past. I mean, so just just to give you set the scene for you all and if you're watching this video

Charlotte, North Carolina. We are sitting in two chairs that are pushed very close together. They are we are sharing one mic. We are we share lots of singular things.

But, but so basically we'll just tell you what we're doing. So we're on the road obviously. We got here to the comedy zone in Charlotte about an hour ago. Yeah. And boy, we've played this we played this club probably

say three or four years ago. Yeah, yeah, it might have been four years ago. And we've always we love this room the way it's set up. It's got like kind of a low ceiling as you mentioned. Yeah, which kind of makes it makes the energy a little more palpable. Yeah, the audience can feel like it just feels even though it contains all the energy for you. Yeah, like sometimes when there's a tall ceiling where the energy goes up and it doesn't reach on stage and it doesn't reach the other members of the crowd. Yeah, yeah, like whenever we play city winery.

Well, I mean, that was there was a whole deal, but like like last like good nights is always awesome too, right? Yeah, I don't know if it's the shape of the room. Sure. I mean, the ceilings were higher there than here. This is the low probably the lowest ceilings in any comedy club. We've maybe played maybe yeah, which is great because it just makes it fun. Yeah, it's a little crazy. Well, I just remember this is this was also the time.

Whatever run we were on that time, this I believe was our first show on that run. And what that meant for me is that I was trying out it was the first time that I ever expanded what I did.

Do you remember that? No, it was my I came out singing a song. I came out. Oh, yeah, yeah, let's get it on. It was the Valentine's day. Let's get it on because there was a window here that's not here anymore.

Oh, we can see that's right. You see you through there. That's right. But it was a February thing was a Valentine's day. Right. So I so I say let's get it on because it was like a Valentine's day thing. And then the first parody song I ever wrote for our show was to all the girls I've loved before.

Yes, and you had the book and I had a binder. I had a binder with all the headshots of all the girls. It wasn't a very big binder. It was a one page binder. It was a one page binder. So all the girls you've loved before. Right. But like, you know, it had.

And I went through it like.

And I was like, you know, there was Georgie and and Joelyne and nurse Nadine, maybe not Joelyne. And you know, it said sort of like Lulu was in there. Georgie was in there.

Like, you know, obviously Kiersten was in there. Emily was in there who played Ellie. Anyway, it was just it was like the first time that I.

I was like, you know, a couple of really good writing those. And so I know and I just I it was a leap of faith for me because I hadn't.

I had never taken a stab at that before and this was the first club and it went so well. And this crowd is electric. Yeah. And I think we sold this place out last time. And it was 300 plus in here, which was crazy. It was nuts.

I think it only seats 250. Well, I don't know. I don't know, but it was packed. And we're hoping for the same tonight. So yeah. But man, this run has been really cool so far because we started in Richmond.

Yeah, which Richmond redid their whole room. Right. It's kind of a theme. Everybody. Yeah, took the time to redo everything. And Richmond was a great crowd. Yeah. Yeah. What's up, buddy?
