Hey, everybody, welcome back to the Muscle Intelligence Podcast.

I'm your host, Ben Pocoski.

0:11.4

So imagine me in 2007, 13 years ago, prior to being a professional bodybuilder,

0:17.4

living the typical fitness life of training a lot, eating a lot, and probably stressing way more

0:23.4

than most people do, having high aspirations for what I'm going to do with my life, but having no

0:28.8

idea how I'm going to do it. And I stumble upon a coach who suggests that I start to read,

0:35.7

that I start to meditate, that I start to question my words,

0:38.8

the words that I use on a day-to-day basis, the words that come out of my mouth, which ultimately

1:21.2

If any of you've heard of Philosopher's Notes on YouTube, you know exactly who we're speaking with

1:25.7

today. And this guy was an absolute wealth of information.

1:31.0

And I thought his business model was incredibly brilliant. And Brian Johnson joins me today to tell us

1:37.0

about his evolution from Philosopher's Notes on YouTube of reading a single book a day and giving

1:42.7

us a summary of the five biggest

1:44.5

takeaways in 10 minutes or less, something that ultimately has changed my life and changed a

1:49.5

lot of lives. So it allowed me to dig into any number of books. And he really read the best

1:56.4

books that exist and then determine if it was a great book for me to go deeper and read.
