And today I want to talk about revenge.

0:20.1

I want to talk about how you opt out of revenge and opt into

0:26.4

your own healing. This episode is going to be a little similar to the episode I did on

0:32.3

Opt Into Forgiveness. But we're going to talk about a little with a little more nuance the feelings that come

0:41.1

when you want revenge, what is at the root of it, why people want revenge, and how to let go of

0:47.8

that and opt into your own healing. Also, this episode has come about because I've been seeing a lot of in the media people

1:48.0

your feelings or creating a situation that's unkind or unhealthy or toxic. Accountability is also

1:55.2

coming from a place of, in some ways, love. It is about whether it's love for humanity or love for yourself.

2:05.0

Accountability is absolutely tied to love. You want to make someone accountable because you want

2:11.6

to give them an opportunity to change or you want to give them an opportunity to acknowledge a

2:16.4

wrong. You also make someone accountable because of the impact it's had on you

2:21.0

and it's worth discussing or bringing to the forefront.

2:24.9

That's accountability.

2:26.5

Revenge is a little different.

2:28.9

Well, honestly, it's a lot different from accountability.
