And today we're going to talk about how to opt into patients.

This one is a very difficult concept for me.

Anybody who knows me knows I am not the most patient person ever to walk the face of the earth,

and I have spent my entire life, it seems, in a rush.

To my own detriment, to my own burnout, to my own emotional pain, and sometimes even physical.

It has been one of my greatest efforts in life is to unlearn the sense of urgency with which I've infused my life and to instead

replace it with the spirit of patience. And I will tell you it's a work in progress, but it is such

a needed quality to have in your life. And it's really important that we do not confuse patience for

passivity. I know that if you are a high achieving person, there is a lot of times a sense of

urgency and a sense of needing to be actively involved in your life. And being actively involved is not a bad thing.

We talk about that all the time in this podcast. What's one thing you could do today? I mean,

the healing practices are like, what can I do right now? I want you to have an active life and be

actively engaged in your goals and in your dreams. But urgency leads to burnout.

Patience leads to joy. And it leads to beauty and abundance. Patience allows you to have the

belief that you've planted the seeds of what you needed,
