And today I want to talk about how to opt into true activism.

That word is used a lot in our society of being an activist, wanting to fight for causes.

And I want to talk today a little bit about what activism isn't and what it is and how you can still

believe in opting out a struggle and be an activist, how activism is related to

our legacy and birthright of community. And of course, as always, we'll end with a healing

practice for you to put into place today to help you get in touch with your interactivist.

I think it's really important to talk about what activism is and what it's not.

I almost always see it being confused in today's world.

We have a lot of people in the world whose hearts are in the right place.

They genuinely want to do great things.

They want to stand up to injustice. But a lot of the path of activism is so intertwined with

struggle. That is locked in this belief system that struggle and activism, pain and activism, sacrifice and

activism are one.

And that's not to say that people haven't historically sacrificed or that people are sacrificing

in some forms of activism.

But also, today's episode is about helping you look

at another kind of lens of activism

and how probably all of us are activists in our own way.
