A number of things happened as soon as the term ended, not least of which the Court of Justice gave us a little

Christmas present of its opinion on the compatibility or otherwise with the EU's proposed

accession to the ECHR. And with a little bit of serendidity, it it so happened that Guestorg is visiting with us this

term, like to welcome you to Capewich as our visitor, and whose project is very much focused on

fundamental rights and the issues around the accession to the convention.

about some of the implications arising from opinion

And just to announce that on the 4th of February, we're going to have what I'm potentially

calling our first pop-up workshop. We won't have a normal lifetime seminar, but we're going

to have a kind of more of a round table discussion of the implications of the

community's here I've seen with interventions from our own Catherine Barnard and healthcare

as well as Shulah, Scotland, Motsford and also speak you is from Essex.
