And instead of talking about the president's performance in office, and what I mean by that

is his legislative wins, what he's been able to do for the American people across the country,

we're seeing these deep fakes, these manipulated videos, and it is, again, done in bad faith.

That was White House Press Secretary Kareen Jean-Pierre, not more than a month ago, discussing how the mean Republicans were editing and deep-faking videos of Joe Biden to make him appear to have dementia.

She called those cheapfakes at one point,

while now President sheepfake is bowing out. Joe Biden announced over the weekend, although it's

not really sure whether he knows he's bowing out. He announced over the weekend yesterday, in fact,

he is no longer running for re-election.

In a letter posted on X and other social media channels, the official Joe Biden White House accounts posted the following letter.

After listing and making up a few of his accomplishments, he says, I know none of this

could have been done without you, the American people.

Together, we overcame a once-in-a-century pandemic and

the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression. We've protected and preserved our democracy,

and we've revitalized and strengthened our alliances around the world. It's been the greatest

honor of my life to serve as your president. And while it's been my intention to seek

re-election, I believe it isn't in the best interest of my party in the country for me to stand down to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president for the remainder of my term.

What's interesting here is that as we were taping this at recording time, there's actually zero

photographic evidence that currently Joe Biden is even aware that this letter was issued.
