0:42.3	Welcome to the Untold Story, everybody. I'm Martha McCallum, and it has been a week of grieving for people in Currville, Texas.
0:49.3	We have all watched this story from Camp Mystic to the other homes that were swept away in the horrific and
0:56.3	tragic flooding that has been happening down there. And with every day, it obviously becomes
1:03.0	less likely that they will be able to recover more people. And right now, there are 170 people
1:09.0	missing. And it has claimed the lives of 27 campers and their
1:14.8	counselors at Camp Mystic.
1:17.1	So this has been a horrible situation and so sad for all these families.
1:23.0	But one of the things that we like to uncover in the Untold Story podcast are the stories beneath
1:29.3	some of these headline stories that we have covered throughout the week because in every tragedy,
1:34.3	there is the really heartfelt and exhausting effort by some people who show up in order to help.
1:43.3	And Operation Barbecue Relief is exactly one of those

2:07.6	great. Hey, welcome. Happy to be here. So, you know, I was with you all in Houston, Texas, back in
2:13.7	2017 when you were operating down there and I was covering the flooding there.
2:19.3	So I want and I was so moved by the work that you do because everybody just sort of leaves
2:23.3	what they're doing when a disaster happens and gets in their cars and heads to the, to where
2:29.3	the disaster is to feed people who are working so hard on these scenes.
