This is the Monday pod where we look back at the weekend action from across the EFL.

I am Ali Maxwell on the line with me, George Ehrlich. For so many teams, this was their

first league games in over six months. And for some, I dare say it would have felt like they

could have done with a little more time since the end of last season. Either way, here we are. We've

got plenty to break down. George, magnificent to hear you on BBC Radio 5 live on Saturday pre and post

matches. What is that like as a Saturday afternoon working with chappers and various others?

What's the setup? Talk me through it. It's great. I love it. It gives me, especially on a weekend

where I'm moving out, so the packing of boxes

and stuff had to, you know, had to pause between the hours of kind of midday and 5.30 on a Saturday,

which should always be the case, but it's hard to always, you know, make that work. But it's great.

I get, you know, we speak normally on Friday about some of the key points pre-match so what you know what are

they going to be and what we need to look at you know touch upon and then speaking about one o'clock to

chappas running through them having some nice chat chappers is obviously brilliant he's not one of

those presenters who just follow his script you know he's got his own opinions and got his own thoughts

and stuff.

So it rarely follows

exactly the way we think

it's going to follow.

And normally a couple

of curve balls thrown in there.
