Summary
This week Tom Clarke is joined by Alyson Rudd, Tony Cascarino and Gregor Robertson.
On the agenda is a scintillating start for Newcastle and a tough start for the three promoted clubs Luton, Sheffield United and Burnley.
The team hear from Molly Hudson who is following England as they prepare for a semi-final against the Matilda’s at the Women’s World Cup.
They then move on to address Spurs without Kane and Gregor finishes the pod with a fascinating take on the other impending one hundred million pound transfer, that of Moises Caicedo. Gregor recently visited Caicedo’s first club in the mountains of Ecuador, he describes what life is like for many young footballers in a country deeply affected by poverty.

| 0:07.1 | is back and so are weathed. I'm Tom Clark and joining me as usual on a Monday of Gregor |

| 0:24.8 | with us for the whole damn show. Because the standout result of the weekend, I think |
| 0:29.0 | we can all agree. Newcastle 5, Asdenville 1, especially when you consider that preview |
| 0:34.0 | show that we did last week, champs. When we talked about them in the kind of same guys, |
| 0:38.2 | we said Newcastle, are they going to be able to do it this season? Are they going |
| 0:41.4 | to be able to keep that intensity? We said watch out for Villa, they're the team heading |
| 0:45.5 | towards the top six. Couldn't have been more wrong. Could we really after that first |
| 0:49.2 | weekend? Martin Hardy in the Sunday Times, Enphatic, Dramatic and with no suggestion that |
| 0:54.0 | energy levels would drop. That's what he just said about that. Newcastle performance. |
| 0:59.2 | Gregor, what did you make of it? I mean, I was gobsmacked, really, to be honest. I think |
| 1:06.6 | Newcastle looked, there was no evidence whatsoever, as Martin Hardy said, that there's going |
| 1:12.1 | to be any drop off. I don't know what's won game in, but the thing that you looked at when |
| 1:15.5 | you saw their team as well and the lineup was this sort of greatly improved competition |
| 1:22.2 | for places. Tony referenced this in his column and in the paper did he, in fact, Anthony |
| 1:26.7 | Gordon, who I can have a bit of a stop start beginning to life. It's at James's Park, |
| 1:31.9 | was brilliant, outstanding and he's got Harvey Barnes waiting on the bench to come on and |
| 1:36.0 | he rigged him on and he scored and set up another goal. You've got Isaac, who was like |
| 1:41.2 | his typical menace himself, brilliant, beautiful, dinked finish. Colin Wilson comes off |
