Tonight, we are pivoting to a disturbing case straight out of New York City via Miami Beach, Florida,

about, I don't know, a quarter mile from where I'm sitting was the epicenter of the Alexander brothers world.

They once lived in this neighborhood, and therefore we run in somewhat, a lot older, but

thanks to the wife, in somewhat similar circles.

And I've said this publicly, never heard a good thing about these guys, but does that make

them criminals?

That's why there is a legal process underway.

Once fixtures in the elite real estate circles, luxury, nightlife, and celebrity adjacent spaces, these brothers are now accused of running what prosecutors call a years-long sex trafficking operation carried out under the cover of wealth,

status, and social privilege. Opening statements wrapped up today and the first witness took the

stand in here to help us break it all down. Well, the first person, Lauren Conlin, she's an investigative reporter.

She writes for L.A. MAG. She's all over everything all the time and she was there for opening

statements today. Next up, John Day shared a story. He is a criminal defense attorney.

His own sister was a victim of a sexual, a vicious sexual assault, and that's what prompted

him to become a sex crimes prosecutor. So kudos to John Day for doing that and making it one of
