Well, whether this is your first time or you've been here many times,

let me tell you a little bit about what's coming up on this particular program.

Have you ever kept a diary?

And it helped you remember what things were like years later.

Well, Elizabeth had a jungle diary.

And in fact, it's a five-part series on those jungle diaries that we begin today.

We'll start off with journal beginnings and then befriended by Alka Women coming up later.

Joining us as well as missionary Frank Kohlinger who will wish us happy new year, not in English and Elizabeth has some thoughts on

learning the Alka language and how Valerie was especially good at it but let's get to that first in our series on Jungle Diaries

when my first husband was killed, perhaps it's an appropriate time to reminisce a bit and share
