This is the Daily Tech News Month in review for October 2025. We're going to look back on what the big stories of the month were and try to help each other understand them.

This month, it's Open AI getting free of Microsoft. New hardware from Amazon, Google, Apple, and Samsung, and Microsoft's Xbox strategy.

The prompt I gave it was, tell, we're doing a 30-minute show wrapping up the biggest stories of the

month in technology. Tell us what you think they are. And it gave me six of them, which I'm like,

It gave me a rundown of like two minutes on this one, three minutes on this one. Oh, okay.

That's not a lot of time. The AI boom and semiconductor surge. So this is Nvidia getting the $5 trillion valuation and just the broader chip ecosystem.
