Maybe start by introducing yourself to our listeners.

So, yeah, Claudia Mello from Brazil.

I'm director of technology for ThoughtWorks there.

Someone says that I'm also head of technology for Latin America, but I don't like that.

I'm just like supporting people in our office in Ecuador.

I'm also researcher with the University of San Paulo, kind of postdoc research we are doing

on renovation.

But yeah, I try to work less than seven hours 70 hours a week okay how is that working out

sorry how is that working out yeah it's not really working out I think I'm trying to

advise the researchers in the University of San Paulo as as I got my PhD there.

So I spent like four hours a month, mostly.

It's not like really huge participation.

Let's see.

Yeah.

And you said you wanted to talk a little bit about technology in Brazil or in developing countries.

Yeah.

There are a lot of aspects I could talk about.

One of the things I think it's amazing in global south regions, especially in Brazil, is open source.

And open source has been in the community for a while, but it's changing a little bit the meaning.

Of course, open source is about sharing knowledge, empower people.
