We're going to start off today's Open Mic Podcast with Ben Donnelly who writes,

One of the things I love about the Mandalorian

is that it does a lot with very little.

It uses simple story structure and light dialogue

to tell engaging stories using action, musical cues, and just the

right mix of physical and verbal acting.

I love what they've done so far and cannot wait for more.

I completely agree with you Ben. I completely agree. You know, I've addressed

us a bunch of times on our Mandalorian spoiler discussions, but it's worth repeating again

because I think there's still a lot of people who don't get it.

A lot of people go to the Mandalorian expecting a show like Game of Thrones, a show like

Breaking Bad or what have you, where like there's the main story arc and every

episode is about that main story arc but John Favreau has always been very very

clear that the Mandalorian is not modeled after those types of shows.

They're modeled after the old Westerns.
