I would like to start off this show by remembering this day 23 years ago.

Do you remember 9-11, were you alive on 9-11,

2001? And on 9-11 2001 and the one thing that I remember the most about that day I was

working in the radio station with Mike Lamb and I grew up watching the World Trade Centers being built.

My dad worked a block from the World Trade Centers.

I was in the World Trade Centers often, observation deck,

windows of the world.

And I'll never forget this Ryan.

My wife at the time was a flight attendant for American Airlines.

And she was based in San Francisco.

And we woke up shortly after the first plane hit the tower and like

everyone else we watched everything unfold.

And about 30 minutes later, my doorbell rang.

And it was my buddy from around the corner, Ed,

who was a pilot for United Airlines, who was also based out of San Francisco.

Now you could imagine at that moment, United Plains and American Plains were the ones used in this terrorist act.

They didn't know whether they had friends, colleagues on that plane, among other things.

And Ed walked into my house in the kitchen and embraced

Sherry and they both broke down uncontrollably and it is a picture in my mind that I will never forget. But I wanted to start off this show by saying this. And you know me, I'm not political. And I don't like talking about politics. But the thing that I remember the most after 9-11
