This is a great, great weekend because there will be no more preseason football. I hate preseason football.

I feel so bad for the first round draft pick, defensive end of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Derek Harmon,

who was carted off the field with a knee injury with a towel over his head in tears. The Steelers

did not have any news on the severity of the injury after the game. There are two games

tonight. The Steelers played and you have the Giants currently with New England. I just, I hate it. I just hate it. And there's so much overreaction

about preseason football, especially at the quarterback position, especially at the quarterback

position. It's it's analyzed to death. It's ridiculous. I think we've seen in this preseason

quarterbacks that look like they have a future and look like they belong. And then you have

other quarterbacks where you're like, ah, I expected more.

Because in the preseason, you're not going against scheme defenses with game plans.

Very often, there aren't ones on the field.

There are twos and threes.

And so it's very difficult to evaluate the quarterback position.

But you know when a guy looks like he belongs, just like in the NBA summer league.

I don't know if Nick Clifford's going to be an all-star, but he looks like he belonged, right?

When you watch him play, you're like, okay, I see that translating into the regular season.
