remains shut down. It's Tuesday, October 21st, and this is

here and now anytime from NPR and WBUR Boston. I'm Shiko Théhuri. Today on the show, as a U.S. envoy tries to preserve a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas,

we get the view from the West Bank, where Palestinians are still experiencing violence from Israeli settlers and the military.

There was a viral video that was taken by a U.S. journalist, and he managed to

take footage of a mass settler clubbing an elderly Palestinian woman unconscious. And the Blue Jay and the

Green Jay haven't historically been a match made in bird heaven. But this year, their love child
