Hey guys, welcome to the DHP on Booker. That is Perez

I don't even want to talk about me right now. Can you imagine that?

Before I talk about anything, I think I can announce that we are going to be doing two shows this week.

So look forward to a second episode in a few days. And the reason we're doing two shows this week is because my podcast co-host is now mostly unemployed.

Yep, pretty much. Mostly unemployed because we've still got this but this is not paying us that much money.

But maybe it will in the future. Hopefully if you guys keep listening and telling your friends, you know, I want us to be the exception to the rule.

I tweeted and posted on Facebook this link to an article that says that podcast listenership across the board for every kind of possible podcast out there is down.

TV viewing is up but podcast listening is down. I want us to now like buck the trend and I want our listeners to come back, tell their friends. I want us to get new listeners and just escape together.

Well, I think a lot has to do with everyone as a new schedule now. Everybody's at home and they're

acclimating to changes and having kids around and having to be places where they weren't or staying where they have never been before.

I think they're going to be here and I think they'll hear every single show that we've done and I think it'll kind of change a little bit.

But as the world changed so abruptly, of course the listenership probably did too, but they'll be back.

Now, like I had a brain fart, like we were going to record a few minutes ago and then I'm like, oh shit, I forgot. I have to log my daughter onto her zoom

because now everybody's doing zoom classes. Can you imagine if all of a sudden zoom stopped working?

The world would stop working. I know I'm surprised that hasn't happened yet. Like so many more people are now using that functionality than before.

Actually, I should probably invest in zoom. Oh my god, that's a good idea.

A lot of stocks are down but you look at things like Amazon, they're like right back up. They're doing really well because that's how we get our stuff now.

Anyways, so let me just do the talking here. Booker is an asshole for the most part but he's also a professional and he needs to not burn any bridges of people in radio because he is a radio person.

Whereas I don't give a fuck what bridge I bring for the most part.

That is true.

Because I'm crazy. We've established this.
