I want to tell you about 70 million, a Peabody nominated podcast about criminal justice

and jail reform from Lantigua Williams and Co.

Each week starting September 14th, a team of reporters around the country will chronicle

how communities are enacting criminal justice reform in their neighborhoods, from bail system

and racialized policing to school to prison pipeline and spread of COVID in jails.

The team hears directly from people impacted by encounters with jails and adjacent policies,

and from those committed to reversing the negative effects on people and communities.

70 million was recognized as the bronze winner and the narrative documentary podcast series,

Category of the 2019 New York Festival and Silver winner in the 2020 competition.

Now it's in its third season and it's made possible by a grant from the Safety and Justice

Challenge at the MacArthur Foundation.
