Summary

The star of Bethlehem is a familiar part of the Christmas story, so much so that its rich significance is easily overlooked. The Magi had been waiting on this sign from above for centuries. And with its rising, the day of salvation dawned. For Jesus the Messiah, the light of the world and the bright Morning Star, had arrived at last.

1:38.2	utilize this type of astrological services in some form or another. It varies a bit. Or just in case there
1:47.5	may be one person here or two who would say, now, what is astrology? The word astrology comes from
1:56.0	two Greek words. Astor means star and logos, which means word. So it is the words of the stars. That's what it
2:07.0	literally means, the words of the stars. Astrology claims that the stars actually want to speak to us
2:15.1	individually. Now, some of you, whom I belong to my generation,
2:21.3	remember some years back, those type of folks used to be called space cadets, stargazers,
2:29.1	but no more. Here we find that so many people would rather believe in the so-called lining of the stars and the stars speaking to them, rather than believe in the God who lined all the stars in their orbit, who named them by name, who set them in their orbits.
