Good evening and welcome to our midweek Bible study. We're so glad that you're joining with us tonight. Sorry for the late start. We kind of got a little bit of a late start.

But tonight we are in the book of Ecclesiastes and Lord willing we will get through chapter four having finished chapter three last week. And also tonight,

being the first Thursday of the month, it's going to be our communion celebrations. So I want

to encourage you, if you're watching live to maybe at this time real quick, get the elements,

and then you can partake with us at the conclusion

of our study. Really looking forward to this chapter tonight. I know I probably say that

about every chapter, but really this chapter. And I think you'll see why here in a moment it really speaks to a profound

truth in life, a principle that you really don't go up against and break. If you go up against

it, it breaks you instead.

It's just one of those life principles, those, one of those truths in the Word of God, a profound truth.

And it's that of Jesus being the threefold cord that's not quickly broken such that he's the only one that holds everything

and anything together. And I think you would agree with me that the world is falling apart. The world is

broken or as we like to say here locally I'll do my best when I say it. Bus up. That

wasn't too bad, right? It is bus up, right? Not bust up. It's bus up. Like bus. Like

the bus? Bus up. Okay, well that's as good as it gets

so for those of you online that's never mind it's a local thing but people are broken

and you know as one said no things are not really falling apart.

They're coming together and falling into place.

And that is true.

But there is just this, sadly, today in this world in which we live in the midst of this crisis, which we're going to talk about

on Sunday, very interesting development this last week concerning the crisis.

But a lot of people are really hanging on by a thread and people need the Lord and people are losing
