Hey guys, this is going to be a little bit different. This is not a normal day that we would post an episode,

but I have been seeing this information from the Innocence Project. I have shared some of their

stuff on social media. I'm a monthly supporter of their efforts.

And I was absolutely heartbroken last month when Marcellus Williams was executed on September

the 24th. I wrote into the governor. I did the phone calls. I signed the petitions.

I donated the money. I shared on Facebook. I shared on Instagram. And I think something in me thought,

I mean, they can't execute this man, right? Like, it won't happen. There's too many,

there's, there's too much movement the innocence project is

behind it they'll get a stay of execution at the very least and he is no longer with us

and based on what the innocence project says he may very well be have been completely innocent

of the crime that he was convicted of and put to death for.

And there is another man right now who is going to be executed. Today is October the 14th.

And October the 17th is his scheduled execution date. So I'm just going to read a little

information here. I'm hoping that maybe by posting this as an

episode, it will reach more people. I know that stuff on social media doesn't necessarily reach

everybody that, you know, it should. So I just want to read this information to you and

hope that as a listener of true crime, and let's be honest, a lot of us consume true

crime like entertainment, and it's real people's lives. And it's, these things are really

happening. And I just, if you think about how many people say that they're avid true crime listeners

or followers or you watch stuff about true crime and it's your thing, if even a fraction of

us moved when things needed to change, things would change. So I'm hoping that

all you Kudies out there are just going to take a step to make a move. I'd love to see if you go and sign a petition or do whatever,
