So the Big 12 is getting three teams into the Sweet 16.

And while it's the three teams that have been the best and the strongest in this league all season,

I don't know how you feel, but I'm sitting here thinking of myself,

if you told me two months ago, the Big 12 would have three teams in the Sweet 16,

I would have said what happened.

Only three? I would have thought about four. Heck, I might have been greedy and gone to five,

to be totally honest. And if it got wild, I might have been able to talk myself into six.

Instead, we've got three. We've got Arizona State. We've got Houston and we've got Iowa State. Injuries playing a big role as well. We'll talk about it all right here on the show. So we had the second round matchups this weekend, and let's be honest. For TCU and Duke, it was always going to be tough for the horn frogs. They went up not just against Duke. They went up against the whistle, the officiating. Jamie Dixon was all over it, he got himself in a little bit of trouble, and while I thought TCU was a tough team and was going to be a tough

out, and by the way, the final score of 23 points does not do it justice, it was always going

to be an uphill climb. And, I mean, you saw, I mean, if you didn't, the discrepancy between these

two teams at the free throw line was just comical. The calls for Duke were obviously there. I'm

not blaming that on why Duke won. Duke was going to win, but they certainly got some help and Jamie Dixon acknowledged as much.

But it's a good season for TCU.

And then Houston goes out there on Saturday night and blows the doors off of Texas A&M and looks like a final four team.

They are just getting better.

The freshmen continue to improve for Houston and Kelvin Samson.

That's the biggest difference I'm just picking up in this team game after game.

We knew that they were talented.

We knew that they were Final Four quality.

I wondered whether or not they would be able to shoot the three as well, how much that would impact them.

And it just has not been impacting them over the last
