India really is a nation of shopkeepers with more retail outlets than anywhere else in the world.

And shopping's traditionally been a very social and hands-on experience.

But today the country's witnessing a consumer revolution

as millions of Indians take to the internet to click and buy.

Online shopping in India is actually taken off in the last two years.

It is in fact the fastest growing sector in Indian

economy and Indian economy is one of the fastest growing economies in the world.

I'm Mukte Jane Campion and for this BBC World Service documentary I'm reporting from

Bangalore on online shopping Indian style.

You can buy anything online. I like to buy clothes, maybe kitchen things, home things.
