The other day, my mother showed me a $26 check, and she asked me to take her to the bank so she could deposit it.

Normally, I would have no issue with this, but we are in the middle of a pandemic. I'm not taking care of

anywhere in public. She's an 80-year-old woman who just kicked fourth stage pancreatic cancer's butt,

and plus, there's no need to go to the bank

anymore to just deposit a check. You simply fire up your banking app. You take a picture

at the front of the check. You sign and write deposit only on the back. Take a picture of it,

say how much the deposit is, and you're done. Now, banks do advise you to keep the physical

check until the deposit actually

post. I showed mom how to use her banking app and afterwards she said, wow, this tech is really

going to change things. Yes, she said it in that Brooklyn accent. Because so many are banking online

now, you need to know how to do it the right way, the safe way. So here's a podcast
