Let's pray together and then I'm going to talk to you out of the book of Romans.

We're going to spend some time thinking about what the Lord has for us there.

So let's pray.

Heavenly Father, we really do want to have a renewed mind.

Amen.

I'm not trying to be cheeky, but that's what we're doing today.

So I want to get to how basically where I'm going to get to the second half with application

is how we treat each other.

And I'm going to talk to you about out of the book of Romans that gives really clear instructions

for how to treat people in the group, people outside the group, the government, and I guess

that's just about everybody, people in the group outside the government, all that. But I want to

start by kind of walking you through Romans and kind of

contemplating what was going on there when Paul was writing to them. And hopefully set the stage,

because basically if we're not careful, we could think that sometimes we think, ah, you know,

their time was different. It wasn't as bad as what we're going through. Any generation, by the way,

always thinks they're in the worst time ever.

It just seems like a truism that just kind of happens.

It's hard to go back and go,

you know, probably in World War II, they might have probably had it worse.
