Hi, it's Mariana I'm the host of the Life with Mariana podcast in this episode we are kicking off the new year talking about alcohol

So it has been one year since I have drink and it is something that I had really been waiting to share with you guys and I'm so glad that I finally did because your response has meant so much to me because I have been so curious about this topic and so supportive and so I wanted to bring together two people that I

really respect and admire who I just learned so much from there is

functional medicine doctor Dr. Will Cole in this episode and it's a two-part

episode with Doc Aeman who's a psychiatrist

and we talk all about brain health in that episode.

So if you guys want to hear a little bit about my own experience in the last year of giving

up alcohol and learn from Dr. Will Colele in part one of this. Keep listening.

Before we dive into this discussion, I share my own experience and then we hear from Dr.

Will Cole, we want to talk about that this episode is for people who are casual drinkers who maybe just want to not drink, but definitely acknowledge that alcohol addiction is serious and that it affects so many people.

And so our intention with this episode is just to support and

give information to those who are looking to make choices about their own

alcohol consumption but if you or someone you know is struggling with alcoholism we

really encourage you to seek help from a health care professional or a support group.

So I have officially not been drinking for one year and I'm so proud to be able to say this.
