Hello there, I'm Chuck Todd and I speak to you from the set of Beath Press where we just

finished our big Sunday broadcast.

We had exclusive interview with White House coronavirus response coordinator, Jeff Zients.

We had Dr. Michael Osterholm at the University of Minnesota, plus Senators Joe Manchin,

number, Mr. Number 50 himself, and the number three leader in the Republican Senate, John

Barrasso of Wyoming.

Look, a few takeaways from these interviews.

Number one, I'd say probably the biggest thing point Jeff Zients wanted to make, and it's

just been this issue with the city of Detroit who seemed to turn down the Johnson and Johnson

vaccine.

So if he had one agenda item, it was to send the message that all these vaccines are safe.

They're all effective.

You shouldn't feel the need to cherry pick which one.

There isn't quote-unquote one that is better than the other.

This is about preventing deaths, preventing hospital physicians.

But it is a reminder this is going to be tough on vaccine equity.

I thought it was interesting that Mr. Zients said it was a huge priority.

They've been making all of these attempts to try and deal with it, and yet the results

are what they are.

So they're not working.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see some more federal attempts at least rhetorical federal

intervention this week on this vaccine equity issue.
